StowAway Standard Hitch Cargo Box with Frame

The Standard Hitch Cargo Box is the original StowAway cargo carrier. With 12.5 cubic feet of capacity, this rugged box offers ample room for securely storing your gear. And, when mounted to our heavy duty swingaway frame, provides clear access to the back of the vehicle. The Standard hitch cargobox includes a locking latch, taillights, a lit license plate bracket and a drain plug for easy cleaning.

The StowAway Standard hitch cargobox is available on two different hitch frames, our versatile swingaway frame or our rugged fixed frame. The swingaway frame swings out to provide clear access to the rear of the vehicle and can be used as a platform for the Standard box, our bike rack, cargo rack, grill station or rod rack. The fixed frame is ideal for vehicles without rear doors or a rear mounted spare tire.
